Improvising....Just Another Word for Making It Up As I Go Along

Making it up as I go along is what I do best...or should I say, enjoy the most. I loose interest if I know exactly what the end result will look like.

To sum it up, my lazy gene doesn't like to plan and my short attention span doesn't like to stay within the confines, of a plan.

So Improvising it is...sounds much better than making it up as I go along.

Here's me making it up as I go along improvising.....never knowing exactly what it's going to look like.

  1. Got my Colourbox today and I so badly want to try some improv, but I'm terrified of ruining this delicious fabric!! Are your blocks all QAYG? I've read through your great tutorials which are hugely inspiring! Guess I just need to rake the plunge!

  2. I still haven't experimented with solids...yet. Every time I see a new post of yours I say "that's what I'm going to try next!". You seem to have played with all sorts of solids, are the Oakshott your favorite? I don't have much of a collection of solids yet and am wondering if there is one that really stands out for you. (I must say my stripe collection grows steadily thanks to your inspirational work)
