Blocks 1-4 Random Flying Geese 2011

It snowed all weekend long, so I just sewed and sewed (I actually folded some fabric too). Even the window in my sewing room has a huge mountain of snow in front of it. These colourful fabrics are pretty cheerful to work with though.

I'm really into the Quilt As You Go mode these days...I wonder how long that will last. I love how I can start actually quilting almost immediately....and I have lots of design choices along the way.

These stripes might be a bit much for the backs but, I'll see where it takes me.

What Next?

When I'm almost finished a quilt the "what next question" usually pops into my head, so I dug around my messy (which I should be cleaning) studio and found these. I went on a bit of a cutting binge with my  Accuquilt Go Cutter a few months ago.

 

I just randomly put up the blocks I had already made....maybe these will get me going.

 

I have a beautiful collection of wovens and shot cottons to draw from...many  of which are Kaffe Fassett fabrics.  I love his fabrics!!!!
