Some QAYG Slivers...perhaps

 I'm still just playing around with the slivers....I thought I'd just try out a QAYG (stitch and flip) block, before committing to a full fledged project.

That Works Rather Well....

 I'm finding this book quite fascinating. After giving it a more thorough read, I went down to play.

 Pressing creases into the arc is a very fast and easy way to mark the fabric.

I would much rather chain piece than paper piece any day of the week. 

 

 That was actually quite effortless!

And there you have it.
I love trying new techniques...and this one is a keeper.
The light weight of the shot cottons is especially nice for this particular method.
