And On It Grows

Back to a little more piecing....the wide stripes, on the right, were pieced a few years ago. It's amazing the treasures hidden away in ones fabric bins. After I make a new piece I usually try it on different edges of the quilt. Quite often it ends up on the opposite side that I planned.....see what I mean about leaving a few things to chance.

Trying out the striped piece.

Here is the that same striped piece on the other side.
Also, I would like to introduce you to a new site where us Canadian Quilters can post about our

  1. It is amazing how just moving those striped pieces to the other side makes such a big difference. Loving this!

  2. I like it best on the left, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out why :)

  3. Loving your progress and hearing your thought process...

  4. Yes - Creative Quilters, Felters, Embroiderers, Weavers, Dyers... ALL needle arts & fibre arts welcome!

  5. I think I like it on the left because it balance out the 2 larger pieces of purple on the right.
