Finding Refuge

After all the craziness of the last few days I found refuge in my studio, for a few hours this evening. A little stitching, a little playing with the blocks, and a little stroking of the fabric and I have found my equilibrium again.  I'm not sure why it's so soothing or how I lose myself in the process but I do.

I was trying to decide how I want to join the blocks on my latest quilt. I'm sure it'll come to me. Now maybe I'll poke my head in the fridge and see what Christmas leftovers I can find.

  1. Well hello there! I understand how stroking and stitching can put your mind at ease. I’m glad your sanction has calmed you. At your worst days, even these things will fail.
