Some Unexpected Colour Therapy

A spontaneous trip to Seattle led us to some unexpected but much needed colour therapy. Yesterday morning we took the Clipper from Victoria and headed off to Seattle.

The glass work by Dale Chihuly had us truly mesmerized!!!

Viewing Seattle from the top of the Space Needle is absolutely breathtaking.

Drinking in beauty does something for one's well being.

  3. Ahhh... Chihuly glass is so striking! I had a chance to see an installation of his work in Phoenix recently. Put some pics on my blog if you get a chance to take a look (April 13 post on the blog). Glad you enjoyed your day!

  4. I've thought about you every day and so many of us have experienced what you've been through, so I'm very glad to see you getting some much needed "therapy". We all need to get away occasionally and Chihuly's glasswork's is truly breathtaking :) (((HUGS)))

  5. I had an opportunity to see Chihuly's work at the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta several years ago. It was so inspiring! I hope it helped to lift your spirits as it did mine.

  6. I saw a Chihuly exhibit at the botanical gardens in Pittsburgh years ago and I was blown away with the color and shapes. You can't help but smile and be amazed by his work. Take care!

  9. Chihuly in Botanical Gardens of Missouri (St. Louis) 10 years ago for me. I'm enjoying seeing this common thread.

It looks like he has a gallery(?) by the Center now. What a lovely addition!

The fact that you had a mostly sunny day adds to the color and beauty dose you got.
