After the chaos of three projects going at once, I must stop and rearrange. Does it help? That is yet to be determined. If only I had about 2500 square feet of space to organize my stuff, like my husband has. I'm in the middle of one with my beads right now. Your solution with the curtain rods is just great. Art (whether finished or not) hanging where you can see it. I love that! LOL. Whenever I start "straightening up" (a.k.a. dragging my feet) it ends up with a major moving project. That's what happened this spring. I got the bright idea to move my sewing room from a small cramped 3rd bedroom to the basement. My DH has his man cave down there and only 1/2 the space was being utilized. After we moved all my sewing down there, I decided to paint that little bedroom. Then I needed new closet shelving and curtains, etc. Whew...I'm exhausted thinking about it, but I love my new sewing area. It's twice the size it was and I like having my DH's company (most of the time..haha). I recently "cleaned/organized" my studio and in so doing some things got better but then there are the piles of stuff that now sit in the hall outside while I figure out where they can go. It's always a domino effect at our house. Each quilt should be displayed as art. They are too lovely to be covering a bed and exposed to dogs, cats and husbands stinky feet, LOL. I don't think it gets as cold in the winter at her house in London maybe.
